Hey I think we have some bad arse acid lying about that you can use to take the melted piston off of your nikasil bore. Sing out if you want me to hunt around for it.

Oh yeah, I remember what those plastic bags full of cut up birthday cards in the freezer are for...

id like to see someone ride an rf900 properly tho, hope we get to ride sometimeI rode with a few rf900's down here in the south, fuckn pussies. used to EAT them on my old kwaka 750 with canvas showing on the tyres.
Is their any assistance we can provide to get you going again?

I've got some acid for the bore (I hope), and some standard heads, if you've fucked them.
I haven't had a chance to pull the cylinders off yet.
I have a spare set of barrels and heads if they need replacing.
For new pistons i will probably buy some new oem ones from ttw as i would need a bunch of gaskets and stuff too.
I might try and get the right hand cylinder off tonight as its the easiest and im not feeling too motivated with the bike at the moment.
It is easier to get a fast rider to stop crashing, than to get a slow rider to go fast.
I don't do anything properly.
Good point, sorry to drag off topic.
I can only offer to sell you a VJ21 complete runner as assistance Asher. And maybe some advice, like for fuck sakes don't run your bike without an air filter!
To jet them is reletively low tech though. Best technique I've been told, is to puot in a wildly rich jet, ride it. It'll four stroke (fire every two cycles instead of every time) under load. Work down in jet size till the four stroking stops when you load it up anywhere in the rev range. Bingo...Jetted.
Time consuming, but super for not burning holes in slugs, or seizing the motor. It's reliable and accurate.
