Personally I get great satisfaction from doing the whole length of the beach and generally get on at Muriwai golf course entrance but will go with the crowd

One thing at a time. Rimmers Road Saturday, the whole damn beach next time. There will be plenty of more opportunities. I want to think of this as "Sand 101" at the Muriwai Campus.

I know the Kumeu BP on the left just before Kumeu. That's a good place to meet at say, 8:15 a.m. this Saturday (23rd)?

I might be keen - the 'might' due to a road tyre on the rear and can I be fecked changing (with my new bead breaker and cool tool) to something grippy on the rear after beers Friday night?

I've tried to gain access with stupid tyres before and it ended in tears. Well, more of a sulk when I had to turn the bike around and go elsewhere. Ah well.....pushing is always good no?

was almost gonna take you up on that, but then realised im running MX tyres so untill i get a dot rated rear im not keen on a motoway excersion

not really sure, was just thinking of a half day run out west, maybe old mountain then to temata rd then over hill to Raglan golf club then round the mountian then old raglan rd to oparau for a pie n coke then pirongia west rd then home, weathers looking good for some photos on the coast

Kumeu Bp (on the left just before you get into Kumeu is good common meeting point for all coming from the South, I usually ride past there most Sat Mornings at about that time (815ish) on my way to beach anyway (some company would be cool)

Not sure if KTM is tired well enough to get on at Rimmers (DR still in workshop) but surpose you could all push

Hey 10bikekid, ive just ordered a new tyre, if its here saterday morning i could be keen for muriwai on sunday maybe, or should i wait for another weekend when the Bigs back

We will get you through even on road tires as Odakya is keen to push the bikes
