The local branch of Palmers sold me some pretty effective cat repelling crystals - kinda camphor scented, white-ish looking stuff. Lasted pretty well in the impatiens. Two applications and the plants were big enough to fend for themselves.

They still fire. Even better as there is less loss past the ball. @20 minutes after freezer removal is optimal.

Hmmmmm, intersting. Twenty minutes thing makes sense. The outer edge would be slightly soft again and conform to the barrel.

Timms trap, baited with a little fish or meat. Quick and effective.

you're missing the point, no torture. it'd just be a job for the .270 rather than the .22 ><

Of course that might bring another level of complication to OP's life.

typically need to enlarge the hole at the bottom cos cats are weary about poking their head in small places, more likely to loose a paw with the standard size.

also came up fails in animal welfare tests. (dictate that 95-99% catch must be killed within 3 minutes. timms average ~90%) but made in NZ. so support our local economoney.

On this one I sadly? have to agree with akzle, why should I have to modify my garden to make it 'cat friendly' for a shitting area? I used to own dogs (show and breed) IF ONE OF THEM went and shit on someone's garden? I am in for either a complaint (and just as likely a cat owner whose cat shits in someone else's garden) or a visit from Animal Control.

If the owner cant stop it coming in my garden? I bloody well will. and yes I did take the .22 to a cat back then, used to sit on the top of the dog pens and torment them, then sprayed outside them and our shed/garage.... fair game!!!

I see a lot of little people (if they fit into that category) that are so taken by the actions of a small innocent creature that they feel they must stop it from having a better life than them.

Not to mention the pain you cause the owner when you take a friend of however many years away from them, and these are very often family pets, ever seen a child who's pet dies?

If I see any of you pests near My property (which includes my animals) you'll get the same treatment you feel the need to dish out.

What a bunch of sad little boys you lot are!

    FYI. for your information

If I was able to catch the bastard(s) in the act, I'd deal to them but I need a solution that will work without me needing to keep an eye out.
