Now who was it mentioned the Rimutaka, just plain cruel to us In Aussie. Remember it like yesterday.
Oh the Rimutaka Hill? Some weeks I go back and forth a dozen times in a truck & trailer, and maybe half a dozen times on two wheels...weather dependant of course

I'm no angel, but earlier this week, there was some ass-hat on a MV Agusta(?) riding round a sweeping right-hander (for him) in industrial East Tamaki, so a 50 km/hr area, at a speed a far amount over that, with his wheels just on his side of the whiteline, and his head in line with my A pillar. If I hadn't been on my own time, getting smoko, I wouldn't have swerved to the left to avoid his head.

As a mea culpa, I rolled up to the lights the other day, and clutched it away thinking I was in third. Ahem, actually in first, reach for the sky!

Fuck me .. isn't it about time you all focussed on your own lives rather than worried about other people's ??? Or are your lives such non-events you need the excitemetn of other lives to boost your own ..

Or are you egos so big that you think you have moral position sufficient to criticise the actions of other people? ???

Either way - let it all go ... you will feel better and the world will be a better place without us all bitching about each other ..
Simple answer to that really, Bandit,
WHEN the individual's behaviour, and final 'outcome' no longer has an effect on MY/OUR PERSONAL riding pleasure, by way of legislation, increased Rego, insurance levies, etc etc... Then I/we the 'bitching ego's' will probably STFU.

Use to be fun back on the early days when the only roads that had white lines were the main roads.
Come to think of it, the only tar-sealed roads were the main roads....
    the biggest trucks were bedfords,
and the police drove MK3 Zephyrs....
Tail gating was a term used for Russian sailors
I use to ride my tricycle on the grass verge back then

I am scared of the big empty vacuum that will appear in my life if I stop bitching about other people.
I'm frightened that into it will rush feelings of mortality and inadeguacy. In fact I am getting shivers just thinking of it...
Getting a life is not an option. That would require effort on my part.

Interesting view this....look at it from the 'other' side.
Your way of thinking says 'we' can't do wheelies, do anything more than putt around at 100k, do skids, drag a knee, or any of the other things we enjoy about riding.
If I read that right, you are trying to limit our enjoyment, even more than the powers that be already have. If I want boring, I'll borrow your white tin can to drive around.
