$16000? What is he thinking? Was some of that hashish smoked in Iran?
Doesn't matter what it has on it, doesn't make it worth more?

Thoughts guys?
Good luck to him, maybe someone smokes the same stuff and will buy it...
Yep, agree...
I just bought a DR800 loaded with extras....
The guy who tricked it up spent money but he was realistic about the price....He knew he wasn't going to recoup the costs.
I got a good deal I think....Maybe after seeing this add I paid a couple of thousand too much...?No, surely not...
Start was reserve, so punched the enter key and got it. I am happy, that's the main thing. Oh, so is he, NOT....In truth a bit disappointed.
I wont tell you what my 690 is worth on paper....but how much of a price do put on true love![]()

One way to recoup the costs of your blingy bits is to remove them from the bike and sell them seperately. I did that with my 990 and got an extra 2k i wouldn't have otherwise got. Having said that a small amount of strategic bling items will make your bike more saleable....but only if its priced correctly.
....wherezz that track go
Bought a 2001 with 11000 miles on it in the Uk three years ago for the heady price of 1800 quid. Was admittedly blingless but came with the Bmw luggage and racks and also broke down in about 5 countries so maybe wasn't such a deal.![]()
The 640 is on trade me if anyone wants a great adventure bike......
