Japanese stuff feels like cheap trash once you've been in one.
Met a bloke recently who has owned one for a while. He's fed up with it.

In saying that, s2000s are not regarded as an "easy" handling car and can bite at the limit. I think this trait was improved with the face lift version.I think the v-tec motor[although sounding great] makes for a frenic experience when they are pushed.

You just need to drive it the way you'd ride a 2 stroke bike with power valves.

When you're a BMW spaz like myself, deep pockets are not needed. The E36 M3 are a very reasonable car to maintain when you have the knowledge And damn, they're a fine bit of four wheeled kit
    Problem being, I can't afford an M3.

Unfortunately not even that makes up for the fact that it's a Honda.

Seriously though even the higher spec Japs feel like cheap trash when compared to the Euro in the same "class".

I concur. Great car.I have heard if the SMG goes in one of these-sell your house, your testies and any kids you may have legal ownership of!! I haveheard the VANOS? gives horrific problems in the early model of these. However, it would be the BMW for me-with the manual trannie thanks!

Oh puleese!! Just because a car "feels" like its quality, it simply is not so. The shocking reliability of so many euro cars simply destroys any feelings of having purchased an "aspirational" european vehicle. I doubt you have experienced a Lexus if you consider that jap cars feel like trash.
