    I didn't write anthing about M/Cs though.

Look up the word "gangs" sometime and have a read of this and other research:http://www.press.auckland.ac.nz/uoa/...jsp?cid=524535

Terms that make us both happy always work just fine.

So what you are saying is that only the ones who are against bikies are allowed to contribute here? Does not make much of a discussion if all agree... But I can see your logic; if all have same opinion you will not have to justify your view...

I'm no fan of most of them either but all the same I do think some of them have a place in society because they have more spine and more honor than a shit load of other people "in blue shirts" that I can think of.

A couple of years ago a good friend of mine came home early from work one afternoon to find some people loading his bike an most of his belonging into the back of a small truck.
He fronted them and was almost killed for his trouble.
Get's out of hospital And won't talk about what happened because he knew what the reaction of some of his mates would be.
Then again not long after he gets a call from the President of a well know Club/gang to do some work on his bike.
During the conversation this guy picks up that something is wrong with old mate so pushes him for info.
Old mate eventually lets on whats happened an as good as begs this guy not to get involved an that's the end of the story,,,,until.
A few days later old mate is sitting at home when he hears a vehicle pull up his drive and looks out to see a ute towing a trailor with his bikes and all his gear on board.
Seems the "gang" didn't like the idea of old mate being done over like he'd been so they went around to the property the people that did the dirty deed came from and beat the living shit out of the lot of them.
Then they made them load up all old mates property along with a few extras on to the ute an trailor and then they take the lot back to old mates place.
There were four club/gang members involved and they just rocked up an took care of business no questions asked an nothing expected in return.
Image how our brave police force would of handled it,,,,yeah that's right they would've done nothing,,,,just like they did when my place got burgled.
So who else going to call when the cops do nothing,,,Ghost busters ?

Nope, I'm saying you like them a lot (even respect them) and I don't.

You're very unlikely to change and I certainly won't. Therefore, it's pointless discussing it.

    Discussion is never pointless

It is healthy to hear other points of view even if you don't agree with them. There is always middle ground. I actually am of the opinion that m/c's are a broad slice of personalities both good and bad. There are people in my local cossie club who have criminal convictions and some with numerous traffic convictions and some involved with using illegal drugs but I don't see any crusades against them. M/C's are an easy and popular target for the lazy media here in NZ. and generally not interested in public debates so hey lets make an example of them. Then we'll get to the queers and the jews and the rats and the coons (in the words of Pink Floyd) Peace brother and show some tolerance

Here your statement: "You're probably the wrong person to disuss this topic because from what I've seem on here, you've always been very pro biker gangs. "

The way I do read that is, that as I am pro-bikie I should not discuss this topic on here. Or perhaps the wording was poorly selected by you, and you meant something else?

No, I wont change my view. I hate rapists, child molesters, thieves, assholes, idiots and the ones word you can't trust. I have come across many of them in our society. But very few in the bikie scene. But that does not mean I throw a blanket over society and judge them all based on the fuckwits that moves in their group. But you clearly do this with the bikies (or as you prefer to call them: Gangs). A fraction more open-mindness might help you in life.

As I wrote earlier, I already know Conquiztador's point of view and once again, it's not about M/Cs.

Also, the people at the Cossie club with the convictions you wrote about probably don't fit the universally accepted profile of gang members.

    Peace out and keep up.

Gangs are gangs regardless of whether they are a bikie, triad or any other type. I didn't name them, it's an official title for groups of people involved in criminal activities which is something bikies are well known for.

Getting your facts right might help you in life.

No they helped out a mate in a situation the NZ police are well known for turning their backs on.
Actually unless you've been asleep your whole life you'd know that's not police work anyway.
