    Lol - none needed.

A good shake-down drive though - there's a few minor things needing attention - a couple of light bulbs, boot-lid struts need regassing, stereo needs re-coded, blah, blah. The transmission is a bit growly at some speeds, will need checking out.

A few photos before it got too bug-spattered and dirty:

Hahaha - more photos when I get a chance. It's got the last of the big straight-six motors (before they went V-8).

A mate bought one of these several years ago. It had a Chevy V8 fitted. Dean filled both tanks before leaving Auckland on its maiden trip home. It went like a scalded cat, he had a ball, but he never fully re filled those petrol tanks again.

There are more than a few around with Chevy V8s in them... In fact my late brother who, in his day, was considered one of the top Jag specialists in the country, even thought about doing the conversion on his wife's Daimler Double Six. (Same as XJ12). She wouldn't let him!

I'd happily shove a 350 ina Jag, but I couldn't do it to a mint one. I just like the SBC motor though, and parts for them are stupidly cheap. Be easy to make a 350hp XJ6, which would stroll along nicely!
