I think awa deserves extra points for doin' it on a scooter. Not quite as easy to get big distances as a 1000cc sprot bike.

I did 200k that day. Wrote a blog (christ! I hate that word), which is on here somewhere. In a few weeks I'm off down the forgotten highway.

I can't do a new tag for two weeks so can I use this one I took Easter weekend? I was gonna use it last time but someone got to the tag before me.

Hint... Five graves in all, some killed in an attack on June 7, 1869.

Strictly speaking the use of a file photo is against the rules. If you collect a tag you need to put up a new one within two or three days. My view is as follows: 1 the new tag as an admitted file photo is invalid. 2 if you cannot put up a new tag for 2 weeks then it is open for other local players to collect the old tag and put up a new one. 3 of course if someone knows where the new ( invalid) tag is and plays the new tag that tag would be validated.
The above is my view only and I would be interested in other players views.

I reckon it stands as a valid tag, the game will move far to slowly otherwise. Plus, the more the merrier!

I agree with Jim, If old files are permitted, then we could all stay home and just post old photos. Not something easy to police.

An old tag that has been photographed before is unavoidable, given the number of tags posted, but the re-post is usually by someone else with a different bike in the pic.

Climbing down off the other side of the fence, at least Bosslady got the old tag, and has contributed to keeping the game rolling.

I think, for this time as Bosslady is from out of the region, we keep this tag as current. Anyway, I know where this is and have my days off coming up.

I agree with Jim though the state of "sucessful tag" could also be in dispute as it isnt showing the sign as photographed, it is clearly the reverse.

Much easier just to keep retagging the old photos

That was too close to the road where cars drive on for my comfort, not as safe as I would have liked. Never mind, count my tag invalid and forget about it, no problem.

Interesting my two pennith worth from the Welly tag o rama -
To claim a tag must be a fresh pic.
2. To post the new target - file pics are permitted provided it's clearly stated as such. Keeps the game moving speclly in the shorter dayligh/ bad weather when there might not be daylight opportunity to get a 'new' pic.

Still it's your folks game; play it how you see it.
