Yea have emailed them, so hopefully I at least get a response. Private sellers talking crap on trademe is one thing, but when a business that should know better does the same thing it drives me crazy..

The misleading advertising does not warrant a libelous comment in public forums.

And i cant seem to change the title? Once sober and less indignant it does seem a bit harsh... If a mod perhaps could edit it to something a little less aggresive? Creative selling techniques maybe?

Probably an honest mistake, but still, it sounds like you could go to the ASA on the 'full of shit' violation; so the title isn't completely incorrect, but is a little harsh.

Constant reminders to one's drunken stupidity makes remembering next time easy.

Calls to question the advertising of the shop would probably lead to an invitation into the shop. That is the first step in getting a customer ... getting them in the shop. Any complaints regarding the content of the advertising ... means the advertising IS being seen and read.

As for the initial complaint and reaction of the OP ... humorous nit-picking ...

Last i checked, Yamaha R15 = ~16.8HP and CBR250 = ~23.7HP... a 6.9HP deficit.. NOT 2 as stated..

Is this even legal? Im not looking to buy one, but surely anyone that bought one after reading that spiel would be rather disappointed?

Considering the number of Noobs that driill out the baffles (after posting on here asking how to) ... and then claim another 4-5 HP ... Of course he will ..... silly question really.
