I live on the Shore. Where are you riding from? Maybe I should PM you.
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

Lol, I seriously think about riding all the time. It's the last thing I think about before going to bed. I figured I needed to do a comfort route around my neighbourhood then I would head into town past my work. Trying to build the confidence to take my bike to work So yeah planning is key. Dinner prep is always what hinders my riding time when i get home!

What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

It's a beautiful day, we should "tackle" the bridge together! It's not scary, even in "peak" hour.

Haha bosslady you make it sound so easy!! "Peak" hour scares me. I'm yet to try riding in it.

Hmm yes, but important thing is that you didn't. You just gotta be fully aware of all the cars (and assholes) around you and always check your blindspot as you come up to cars merging onto motorway.

If you practice motorways, I will practice u-turning down a hill ahahah

Not insane. I'm not quite "brave" enough to lane split yet, still trying to lane filter sometimes though. Just get your road positioning right, make sure you're positioned in such a way that it's easier for the cars in other lanes to see you and it's ok, practice how to go slow using the rear brake, utilising the clutch and throttle at the same time, bloody invaluable stuff to learn even for riding around the block, I hardly ever have to put my feet down now unless I need to stop completely for a red light. Well if you don't want to cross the bridge that's fine.. but does anybody want to meet for any sort of riding at all today? haha I have no plans and my flatmate is away tonight so no need to be home for dinner at any particular time.

Haha now that actually sounds like a deal.
Taking you round circles the other day reminded me of breaking in a horse lol.

North to west means no bridge but yes to motorway.
Is there somewhere nice out that way?

Are you trying to break me??

My carpark session made me feel better. Clutch throttle and turn bars lol

Um, there are some back roads, but I don't go down there on my own because i'm not familiar with the roads. I usually take the most boring routes because I need to practice stopping starting etc. So uh...I pick the roads that are sprinkled with traffic lights lol.

If you're brave enough to do some more motorway riding, we could do Mission Bay?
