Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.
Dont worry about coming to Sass if you feel there is any pressure. We dont do pressure. Can possibly organize you a rider to guide you in and I can for coming back out west. My partner and I have both been raw riders that came through the Nass/Sass setup and it works a treat. And very new riders is what its about.

Hey there I'm a newbie and this site was recommended to meI've found plenty of useful advice so far! Just wondering if SASS is still running? Also recommendations for mentors?
I'm a beginner and I have an L plate to prove it! So looking to build confidence with knowledgeable riders.
P.S. sorry if I'm not doing this post thing right either!
I'm not sure how lively the 'official' KB Mentor program is, check out this sub-forum:

As far as I know, SASS meets every week rain or shine. I haven't been myself, but everyone on the site speaks highly of it. The thread is here:

I've done it once before and it's a really good ride. Great scenery and roads.
Yup Sass is still on. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...highlight=sass
Come on over.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?
Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.
