I've never been able to afford anything nice for myself for most of my life so I like to buy nice things if/when I can, so I do and I'm not sorry for itI don't care what brands other people wear, truly, I just hope that my friends wear the right safety gear cause I would hate to see them get hurt but that's not my business either if they choose not to. I think people should be allowed to wear whatever they want, we're all the boss of ourselves!

You can never have the "right" bike and your bike will never have the "right" suspension or forks or mods or the colour will never be "right", you'll never have the "right" helmet or the "right" gear or blardy blar blar blar. It's a "game" a lot of people play. I can't afford to play the whohasthemostawesomebikewithsweetmods game, I can hardly play the alpinestarsbrandwhore game but I really like the gear and the way it fits and I like to have things to match plus it's all my best friend/flatmate wears and it's what all the sweet motogp guys wear so yea, consider me a brand whore, proud and true!

See.. I barely have any "normal people" shoes. Ahh I think I have a pair of running shoes, some jandals, some puma sneakers and maybe a couple of pairs of boots. By woman's standards, I am shoe poor! I also don't have many nice clothes. If I'm not spending money on my damn kids, it's money on motorbike crap!

Errrrr those shoes you saw me in last night are the only ones a wear now. My 3 pairs of 5" heels are too sore for me now.

Quick word on gear. Dont scrip on gear. Get the best you can afford and get it new. Example of this is my girl (Sharry on KB) hit a car at speed with good gear on. She got 4 major pelvic fractures with 2 compound, 2 broken wrists with one compound and a cracked L5. That all sounds very bad yes but she didnt have major skin loss of any damage to hands and feet all due to great gear. If she had major skin loss as well she would not have survived with the blood loss. She also had a back protector on, if she didnt she may not be walking now.
Not trying to be a downer but gear is critical and I will go on about it. With out it I wouldnt still have my beautiful girl.
Oh and I have been for a slide recently with a car pulling in front of me again good gloves and boots and Im fine. Make sure the amour sits in the right places and wont move once its there.

I'm trying to save for a two piece leather set with knee sliders and also get extra armour like back protector
Textile is ok for learning but I think I'm getting to that point where I need to look at it seriously although my helmet can stay the rest ill switch ASAP (life/pay check allows)
