We had the basic package and the basic sports. While I can watch the darts and rhythmic gymnastics for hours I cancelled the sports when it was clear they were not getting MotoGP. Will get it back for the football world cup next year I guess, but rugby and golf can go get fucked.

$12 a week for the basic does give you a much better choice than normal TV. Whether it is worth it is up to you.

And people pay to watch this???? I couldn't stand this when it was free. I'm going to look seriously at all alternatives to Sky, as far as sports goes.

sky basic is 48.78 a month.basic sky sport is 26.34 per month basic sky movies is 20.70 per month .This is not hd and not mysky

oh dear...private TV buys live feeds from sports and sells to public, who can choose to pay or not....other options are...state TV.....I know which i prefer..i guess it depends on whether you believe the state owes you everything.....as for sky not having Motogp...since it isn't the only reason i have sky and I undertsand it is a minority sport in this part of the world...and it isn't given away like darts and golf...i can understand...motogp website is better anyway.

it is a monority sport but they wont do anything about unless someone makes a fuss...and if the fuss includes a few suscribers leaving then thats the ultimate apart from cancelling sky altogether.If we all did absolutely nothing they may not even bother to bid next year

I cancelled Sky Sports and am more than happy with the coverage on MotoGP.com. Even if they did bid next year and got MotoGP I won't be subscribing.

Never watched da football/soccer so won't miss it, see Darts is on a lot and that's a real sport booze,hot chicks, real party crowd and you can be a fat, bald winner.
