The corollary to what Pritch said is to bring in stuff that people that have very little money are likely to blow it on to give the impression that they have money. I always, always buy Levis, Wrangler & Lee Jeans when over there. A couple of times I considered bringing in some in common sizes to throw up on tardme, but decided I couldn't be bothered with the tards that would be likely to rip all the tags off, wear em and then want to return 'em. So much for my entrepreneurial spirit.

As well as BBQs and Ride ons, one thing that always strikes me as ridiculously cheap over there, compared to here is chilly bins. Even considered packing one full of levis lol.

For stuff that's likely to be easier to move, I'd go for whatever the latest clothing gear is for skaters over there before you leave. By the time you get back and settled it will be in demand over here and the hood rats will drop their latest WINZ special needs allowance on it without hesitation.
    Keep on chooglin'

Late model Trumpies are a lot cheaper in merka compared to here. Have a look on craigslist or even better something like searchtempest http://www.searchtempest.com/results...min&maxAsk=max

Hey, what about caravans? Like http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/rvs/3701972658.html

I know the doors are on the opposite side (who cares) - but whats involved in rewiring does anyone know??

He was told he should have bought in a BMW, Audi, or Mercedes, the type of car that people who do have money would like.

While that sad tale might not be relevant to this thread, the general principal is. Bring in stuff that will appeal to people who are likely to have cash.
Nothing to do with cash, plenty of muscle car fans have cash. It's just the wrong car. It was never as popular as the Camaro which shares it's GM F-body platform, and more than likely from the wrong era (post '72, a time that every muscle car fan likes to pretend never existed).

Hi y'all from Texas - a rare occasion of being wet underfoot, so may be starting work around midday.....

Started poking around at prices over here, will share some examples - see the attached Stihl and price tag

A Kiwi Cobber just bought this mint 59 Impala 6 for $16k - plenty more in THAT warehouse!

Damn that saw is cheap. Whats the crop the header is on? Would be a cruisy sort of job with a bin that big on the back of the semi.

And if you happen to see any of the smaller ratchets in this pic, could ya let me know a price. They are craftsman tools.

What he said, A 1199 is about 16,500 - 17,500 add a few more on for the S and R models.
It works out to mid 20's for a bike that retails at well over 40k
