Unless you make the pic too big, or quote it
People have the DR650 Wiki link in their signatures, and I get banned...
This was the offending link...

I'm going to put it in my sig on AdvRider![]()
I'm on a warning on here for reposting a post with a pic - one of yours I think Nordie -think the cheek I was handing out at the time wouldn't have been the same with out the pic but forgot them mods got no sense of humour![]()
Given how deserted this site is becoming you would think they'd be keen to look after the semi regulars or maybe the real reason was cos it was one of your jinxed photos Nordie![]()
....wherezz that track go
From...
To...
14Kg at the moment.
The Diamondback hard tail weighed 14.5 with all the same components...
Only new bits are the seat post, front dérailleur and headset.
The bottom linkage is shot but the bearings are easy to get.
Took it for a short test ride up Blue Gums to the gate and back down.
I'd forgotten how high a FS seat is when you swing your leg over it...
It creaked and groaned more then I did.
But...
It climbed better than the hard tail
No lifting of the front in tight corners and not a lot of pedal induced bob. Well, that's what the VPP back end and Propedal shock are all about anyway.
Descending? Well, it's a full suspension bike. That's what they do and it does it well...
Me likey...
The cyclocross is still my favorite...
I love my Stumpy.![]()
In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
Apart from the quake it's been quiet in Nelson... Too quiet... like the stillness before a thunderstorm...
I wonder if something is up in the emporium...
In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
The DR is getting some new old shoes and some LED bum lights to get a WoF.
The Cyclocrosser got a bath.
The MTB got a new/old pair of SRAM X0 alloy/carbon shifters and a good testing.
Pulled out a MTB personal best on my Codgers-Tantragee-Golfcourse loop by 5mins.
Still 4min slower than the best Crosser time...
Nice solid shifting...
Need to replace the bottom linkage and linkage axles on the MTB though.
The TT needs a new headlight bulb and the blinkers have crapped out. Could be the flasher unit...
Another Cyclocross race next weekend. This time at Saxton Field.
Hopefully I'll get a ride in every day this week...
The aim is to not finish last...
A week is plenty of time to build some endurance.
I know I've got some in a box here somewhere. Haven't used it in 15 years, should still be in good condition. Hope it still fits...
