Which one do you really miss?

I dug a picture out for 98tls to show him the bars I had on a Bandit a few years ago. I actually got a little bit emotional over the old thing.

There are 2 more I still wish I had been able to keep to this day. Not that GSF quite as much, even though it was an exceptional machine but it made me recall a couple of others.

(Apart from the 'j' of course, I still got that one.)

The 955i (in White Trash's words) was a fucking animal, and I can't disagree with that. Even thinking about the rides I had on it still give me wood.

When I was seventeen and had my first proper full time job I bought a 750 four. It was rubbish and I got rid of it for a Dominator that was well older.

Wish I still had that old Norton.

So, ladies and jellybeans. Pictures obviously are encouraged, which ones do you really wish you still had closeted in the garage's corner?

Because I regret selling the bikes mentioned above, wishing I had had the forethought to bury them away, I have decided that I will never sell this. I don't ride it any more due to an injury to my leg a couple of years ago, but I like looking at it in the shed.

Yeah, shame I wrecked it, sold the TZ motor to a go kart guy and fitted a RD350 motor. This was before I learned the history of it.
It was the TZ that Randy damaged badly at Wanganui in 1974. Before that he had had a major engine blow up, and was given another motor for it by John Boote, on condition that when he got back to the states he would send his spare motor out to John, which he did. (john told me this just last year when I was talking to him). At the end of this summer season here, Randy went back to the states, leaving the damaged TZ here. It was repaired and went thru a few NZ owners, exactly who I am not sure, although I understand Lynsday Williamson was one of them.
I bought it from Blair Carpenter motorcycles, although at the time I worked for Doug Cresswell Suzuki and there was a TZ350 in stock there at the time, but the 350 was too dear for me.
I raced that little TZ for a season at ruapuna, I loved it.

2004 ZX-10R. The next model was a bit of a pussycat, but this one was crazy.

My xr600r, still miss it. I had more fun and good times on that thing than any other bike I have had. One of the dumbest things I ever did was sell that.

Still got the xl250 in the background though.

It's easier to recall the odd couple I wouldn't like to still own than it is to remember all those I'd love to still own.

The RD350LC. By the time I got it, it had been well thrashed, and was fairly poked. Still, if I knew then what i know now, I would have held on to it, and lavished some time and $$ on it.
    Keep on chooglin'

Ditto. But it was me did some of the damage to mine. Saw it in a shop when I came back from my OE. Had zero money. Had to walk on by.

Damn comfortable bike, just to mention something not said often.
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.
