More bits added. After spending an hour wondering around bunnings and then another hour at the car wreckers, finally found some plastic piping to create the air intakes just need to find some pod air cleaners now.

I intend assembling it first, ride it. If it works strip it and paint everything and if it doesn't work just put it on the mantle piece as is

It would remain in its current form in my ownership but the extra luggage capacity in the front would never be seen, and I would prolly swap my shock and get my fork kit done,or shall I just save about 4500 and keep mine?

So after weighting for a couple of filters to arrive by courier I finally ended up with an intake system which will look alot like this on final assembly.

Have also bought some foam to wrap them in. What you think ?????????????

They look good, nice and high up for deep river crossings. What about when going through water fast?

Woodman, good point. I haven't quite finished in that area yet. I have to fit in a couple of oil coolers so a couple of deflector shields may be necessary and I also want to make a cover for the area above the filters because the tank is so far back from the steering head.
Its about time I stripped the donor bike and got this thing a runner to see if I carry on, then I will look into the front brake and a Brembo calliper 320mm Disc etc

Any one want to Motard there oil head GS ???????? I have wheels
