It actually reminds me that you really have to know the bike. Like it wouldn't idle this morning and was spitting back on me. She was telling me that she needs a REAL ride, not some pansy commute in wet weather down Featherston St peak hour !!
Ah good stuff! glad you are in good health and back on the road then! : )

Good to see, mate! The bike looks mint! Shame you couldn't post the sound as well. That would have got everybody here going for sure!

Nonono, you misunderstood me, I meant that it was a blast, y'know, an explosion, or rather, several small explosions arranged in a somewhat orderly fashion. At least I think that's how these bike things work?

Sometimes, these Guzzi things even blow the throttle bodys (EFI ya see) right off the intake manifolds while cranking up starting. 1100 twin becomes 550 single instantaneously and makes one helluva racket (as well as a fright to said rider ).....

Sure do. But far out is my body hurting from my first weekend back on the road - gees I am even more unfit than I realised. Enough breaks for me - first it was 7 months, this time 6 months. Lets stay on the road, much better that way
