And I would expect it to do as many k's as any Hornet, in half the time, and twice as fun.

The K2 motor is so strong, well built, and useable. The Hornet motor has NOTHING on it in any way shape or form...And I really liked my Hornet.

What do you lot think of this? It's just outside my price range, but fuck me look at that exhaust. It's a thing of beauty.

Am well out of touch with newer bike prices myself but agree tis a nice looking bike for sure, possibly expect some hassles from the cops with that number plate setup.

Yeah I think I'd just sort out a license plate hanger and suspend it from the exhaust mounts. Not worth the hassle of getting pulled over. I am pretty sure that integrated indicator/tail-lights are illegal too.. so perhaps some flush mount or license plate mounted indicators will be needed.

But anyway, arranged with the local Kawasaki dealer to have this inspected and if all goes well will be picking it up this week sometime! Weather looks terrible though, might have to invest in a rain-suit.

Source some similar pants elsewhere like CRT or NZ Safety / Protector safety.

My Ixion rain suit is pretty bloody good. When the torrential rain hits ya though, the fact the your head and hands need some place to exit, means that nothing is full proof.

Probably stick to =/<600cc. They can do anything (nearly) a 1000cc can do and are a little more sane. ZX6 or K4/K5 gsxr 600 would be my vote.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Have been considering mid '00 600cc super-sports such as the ZX6R and GSXR600.
1000cc supersports aren't off the table, I was mainly looking at the 600's due to lower cost overall for rego and consumables (tyres!).
gee i always like small bikes but big one do have lots of torque i must admit.
