I sure do Ross !!!!!After my first bike (SL125) I brought a MT125!! (then a XL175 and XR185). Use to love the look of the XL250 shown in your picture. Alas the 250 was too heavy for my weak little arms to pick up
to pic up. My love for the SL & the XL250 definately came from the Honda 'NO1 UNDER THE SUN Ad on TV in 1973.
For those of you TOOOOOOO young to remember, here it is . . .

Cool bikes, and hanging out with you oldies makes me feel good![]()
I had a 1974 XL250 for about 3 years when I was in the big Green Machine, Rode it regularly over the Napier Taihape rd, (All shingle back then) from Waiouru to Wairoa. Also did a lot of riding in the Army training area on it. It never let me down once, proved to be a very reliable bike. Quite a few of us had trail bikes in Waiouru and to name a few, Yammy DT250, Honda Elsinor,
Suzy 2 strokes , TS models from memory, Honda XL175, XL250, there were others but cant remember them.
(Wish I was as fit as I was then)
