Wouldn't want it to go too well. What with having no suspension to go with it's two wheel drive.

Looks like dangerous Honda three wheeled things from the 70's/80's that's been bastardised.

They made some oil driven front wheel assist MX bikes a while back but it didn't catch on at all.

Similar style to a Rokon http://www.bikeexif.com/rokon-trail-breaker but with the Lifan engine I'm guessing its some sort of Chinese equivalent.

I think it would just understeer and be unridable in any situation that two wheel drive might help.

That looks like a death trap with no front suspension. Must be scary as fuck to ride it hard. Just as well Lifan engines don't put out much power.

I've ridden that, quite cool and take a bit of practice to be able to ride it, there's another one very similar built by the same guy in Christchrch

Years ago when involved with the American Enduro scene a friend had a Rokon he used for trail making..

It worked great..but, very slow and rough riding, no suspension, on the road..

    Kind of cool though!

Correct. Yamaha WR450F 2 Trac. Had a front wheel drive, hydraulic system built by Ohlins. Only ever delivered up to 15% torque to the front wheel. Very clever system. Flopped like a dog fish.
