A vast improvement on the original. I very much like the oldies fettled with modern running gear.

Amen to that,would love to read a write up of how it rides.Love the looks though would change a few things if mine ie get rid of anything chrome and make it black incl of the rims.Original is nice but in a so is your grandmother way.

Fuck off, it's not like it's the last in the World. Or even NZ. Come to think of it every 3 pub town in NZ has a decent Z900 so one more or less isn't gonna make a PeeWee50 worth of difference. They are the Mustang of motorcycles, a defining vehicle in historical context but there are fuckin' millions of 'em around so if someone chooses to modify it to make it actually ride half decent then good on 'em, at least we get to see it rather than have it tucked away in the shed on cracked old cross plies.
