Yeah will do
Just browsing through it there's a few funny statements
2nd sentence of Mike's foreword he says:
"I've seen a lot of riders badly mangled. I've seen a few killed. By comparison, I've got away with a few bumps - for 20 years"
and then on the next page after a paragraph on if you get hit or hit anything you're going to get hurt the next two questions are
"You still want a bike?" and "Want to lengthen the odds on staying in one piece?"
Inspiring stuff![]()
I had (still have) a copy of Mike Hailwood's "The Art of Motorcycle Racing" in which he blithely states "you don't know where the limit is until you fall off it."
Thanks Mike. (Oh and I did eventually find it too...)
. “No pleasure is worth giving up for two more years in a rest home.” Kingsley Amis
What's that funny lever contraption under his right leg? Powerband adjuster?
"Sorry Officer, umm.... my yellow power band got stuck wide open"
Shit I remember reading that when I was 15 years old - the only real comment I can recall now (almost 35 years later) is something along the lines of treat all car drivers as if they don't see you. Would love to see the PDF
Well my scanner isn't cooperating with adobe so just old jpegfiles
