The thing being mate...if I was to see riding that poor even on the street...I'd be having words to them. Believe it not I'm only too happy to try and help newer (and that's a big assumption I know)riders out where I can. Matters not they were on a race track.

After telling all and sundry how fucking useless and dangerous I was...I offered him the chance to front up with some serious coin on offer to prove it. You have never done a trackday so you don't know what you are talking about...

The organisers on the day will let you know exactly what the overtaking rules are. They are simple and easy to follow.

Ask ay first timer, stright after briefing, to repeat the overtaking rules. Most of the time they are so full of nerves and anticipation, there's a good chance half wouldn't be able to do it.

Dont take it that way. Yours and Drews experience is noted but many riders who want to have a go do not have that knowledge and as you know the track can be an intimidating and stressful place when starting out. You could help by offering a list of general advice and tips to people so they are better prepared for the track.
