So yeah, thoughts so far are meeting at the Kingsgate Hotel (Garnett Avenue), Hamilton around 10:45am to leave at 11:00am. Will take us about an hour to get there. Should be good (weather forecast looks clear at this stage).

Will also add this to the standard calendar so we can estimate how many people will turn up.

Sent you a pm ZE: Since I live over Hillcrest I'd suggest meeting you lot at the Hillcrest Caltex. I'll be there ready to go at say 11:10am. Then I can guide you through Scottsmans out to Okoroirie.

I'd suggest coming through via Cobham drive would be easiest from Te Rapa.

Since I've already put the meeting place at Kingsgate Hotel (Garnett Avenue) for 10:45am to leave at 11:00am, the people on Te Rapa side can start from there, and we'll head across to the Hillcrest Caltex asap (11:10-11:15) to meet up with you and whoever else is on Hillcrest side of town. That's probably the easiest way to do it. I'll have my GoPro with me, so I should be able to get some decent footage

Anyone headed to Taupo to watch the superbikes? If I end up going I will be taking the car, need to get the bike checked, something looking odd with suspension on one side. Black 2-3cm large rubber(?) ring thing sitting on top of cylinder. Almost looks like a bump-stop or something.

Of course I may be able to do a deal for you on a work licence. This will cost you at lear $1,000.00 and will not extend to your motorcycle.

Just above 100kph and yes detector carried as mum warned me about talking to strange men in pretty cars.
