    It's those white wheels that get me.

    Re the tinline rd, we had a look yesterday on the topo map site. i think Nordie was right & the important link to get to Hebbards Rd is across the bridge with the big locked gate that belongs to the church/cult people. it would still be a cool ride. We haven't been across the Maunga since my birthday

    Tried some while back but like Padders points out there is a gate somewhere - let me know when and I can help you lift the sub over the rocks.

    I'm looking out over a still mirror like sea. The sun is coming out of the fog & the sky above it is blue. I have the day free to go riding. If anyone is keen on a roadie somewhere for a coffee i am keen. Free to leave after 10ish.

    Perfect riding weather this morning.

    So I went for a treadly ride this afternoon

    Pissed down on me for all bar the first 10 minutes.

    Not much traffic though

    Followed my nose out to above French pass. Forgotten how lovely the riding is out there. No traffic. prob going Mtbing tomm with mrs padmei cos we'll be kidless - yay!

    This is a new child minding strategy i had not considered... How long do you end up child free for if they walk back from French Pass?

    They even do that when you shift and don't tell them.
