One of those 883's would be a real handful for sure.
Tail chop and chain drive too.

Is that an air intake pointing out the front of that GSX?

Can't comment on the XR883s, but there's obvious comparisons to be drawn with the XR750.

I'll have a dig around tomorrow and see if I can find pics of a similar bike a friend in the US owned - a XR750 lookalike, but with a 1000cc engine.

Sorry. A bit OT - these are flat trackers, not scramblers.

I went out with Trustme for a look around some gravel roads.
His Triumph got a bit grubby.
Does the BMW count as a scrambler...its really a road bike with knobblies on?

    Nice shot.
That pub in the back ground looks a little more trendy than it did last time I was there though.

You mean like the $7 hand cut oversized chips in a mini chip frier basket with aioli and ketchup?
I was surprised that they did not complain about the muddy bike boots, probably thought we were hipsters as I hadn't shaved or brushed what remains of my hair

I was impressed by the designated bike parking.

My how times have changed, last time I was there would have been 1988/89, and there were heaps of grubby biker types and a couple of forestry trucks were the only other vehicles. Found a bit of a fingernail in one of their pies once, and they didn't give a fuck. Loved the place.
