LOL. I'd already warn it out and had to swap it. Hope you weren't expecting me to change it back for the bald one.

Tanks's for the great ride Fran. Really enjoyed it.

Look forward to seeing the video :-)

No snow or gorse to speak of, lots of mud though and plenty of practice with the pruning saw and lifting bikes over trees. The mighty DR almost let me down too You go to start it and it acts like it's flooded, drain the float bowl and it's usually away. Not this time. Flattened the battery and eventually it decided I'd had enough punishment and started. Left it running after that.

3hrs was enough to start with. Last weekend, I could hardly walk and haven't been able to ride the pushy all week.

    Good fun

I spent most of the weekend on the couch feeling buggered. Amazing how many 4wd & motorbike youtube clips you can get thru if you work hard at it

You have really turned into a proper Nelsonian haven't you. A few days rain and its the end of the world.

Dunno whether to start putting the benelli back together, drag the KLR out and clean it from the dustybutt and fix the broken stuff, tinker with the GS or go for a ride tomorrow.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Yes I think you're right. I suspect this cos I am also really sick of hearing new-to Nelson immigrants moan about the low pay & high prices - been quite a few recently. I mean Nelson is a beautiful place & that's why there is a city here. Imagine how many people would be clammering to get in here if you could earn good money AND live in a beautiful place.

I've really got to get out tomorrow. Maybe the forest again...

Unless you mean a pushbike ride, I'd be keen on a slow pootle in the forest if'n you want some company. Actually sounds like a good way to keep warm.

A work colleague likes the sound of adventure riding, even after all the boring smoko stories, but he only has an old Harley, so he has convinced me to let him borrow the KLR and take him on a few rides to see how he likes it, which I am happy to do as its just sitting in the back of the shed doing nothing. He was wondering about what happens if he damages it, but I have assured him it is now unbreakable, and if it does get badly damaged their will be more to worry about than a broken bike.
