"Showgirls" is still the movie that most comes to mind as a serious attempt at a movie, that just turned out bad.

(People will have differing opinions; I like "Starship Troopers" and many people hate it. Fine. But does anyone (other than pervs with one criteria for a movie) think "Showgirls" was a good movie?)

Showgirls was ok, I liked the pool scene . Gave a different meaning to the stage expression "Break a leg"...and I learned how to pronounce a certain fashion brand properly.

well most recently, The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The movie contains fewer than 15seconds of comic book action, and the whole story was total crap. When they restarted the movie franchise after the previous flops I thought it'd be done properly. Seriously can't work out why they thought that particular 142minutes of nuisance 14yr old dribble was worth releasing

Another one I regret watching is Cloverfield, way to make a monster movie without a fu*kin monster

Up there as one of my worst too. I hated the fact that the camera was shaking all the time, as if to simulate someone running away from the thing while still filming it, not a good effect when watching it on the big screen, kinda made me feel sick.

    This film was total crap!!!

I have Pacific Rim on my big budget crap movie list. Soooo bad. That's something from me I usually ignore massive plot holes etc and enjoy the ride but that movie was so fucking flawed I struggled to the bitter, utterly predictable ending.

    Today I have hired:

Taken 2 - I enjoyed the first one
Sublime - looks interesting for a horror .......... we will see.
Old Boy - planned for viewing tonight - anticipation level of goodness and mayhem is high. I hope not to be disappointed.

Silent Running - on my favorites list - probably camp now but it left a lasting impression on my teenage mind. Book was good too.

Logan Run - there is a blast from the same period I had mentally mixed that up 10 mins ago when I blinged Silent Running - but to be fare I'm pulling out memories from decades back.

Happened to my friend during 'The Blair Witch Project'. He gagged at one point and had to leave before the end

I haven't bothered but I've heard the new Godzilla is big on the monster you can't see BS too.

The original looks like it may have subtitles....... I don't do subtitles.

Of interest the one genre of movie that does not have a issue with language is porn. Regardless of the race and language of the actors you can always see the ultimate ending coming ..........

It's the remake .......... how bad can it be???????? It must be better - in the remake he was captured for 20 years - only 15 in the original. He'll be more pissed off after 20 years.

Mmmm, Showgirls was pretty dire - they enjoyed eating their dog food though! And as for Starship Troopers, my fav scene was the bug sucking out the guys brain.

My feelings about "Total Recall" Give me the original hokey Arnie version any day over the Colin Farrell one. Rachel Ticotin and Sharon Stone were super awesome in the original. The two totally forgettable chicks in the later version can't act to save themselves!!!!!

The third boob looked much better in the remake though

I agree - lead actors were hollow in the remake no chemistry between them. Had some good special effects but left no lasting memory at all. Original Arnie one did.
