My personell choice for top out springs was always the Longest softest ones so they acted calmly and not aggresively, good luck

Bypassing the fuel relay? Which relay? The electrical power supply one or the fuel pressure regulator?

The quick disconnect under the tank? That was added after the issues were found, due to the fact we had fuel pouring on the ground every time we disconnected the fuel pump or filter. It's a dual shut-off style out of a Triumph 1050i so shouldn't have caused an issue, especially as it's pre-pump. Or do you mean the OEM one onto the fuel rail?

Cheers for that. It's only because I have to drink so much Heineken to put up with all you riders.

Fuck knows, some relay that had power in but no power coming out, pump shit itself as well last meeting

Quick connect under the tank, my dick would flow more than that thing

The weather was a bit average when we arrived but we got set up and ready to go.

We’d put a new front and rear tyres on to scrub in so we weren’t planning on going that quick in practice and Goober was scrubbing in a new rear tyre in as well, this was all in preparation for the BSTT in October

Alex as usual was telling us he was going to be taking it easy but we’ve seen what his version of easy is before and it differs quite a bit from ours

    Practice
We’re taking it easy and Kai/Ella blast on past us, a couple of laps in and so does Goober/Matt so we up the pace a bit and stick with him
About 3 laps in and we spot Kai/Ella off the side of the track near pothole with the motor having stopped on them

    Grid positions up and Goober/Matt on P1, Alex/Andy P2, Me and Will P3, Kai/Ella P4 and Phil/Stephen P5

Kai/Ella get towed in and immediately go to work on the bike, it’s got power but no action from the fuel pump, I get my spare pump and hooked up it doesn’t go either, power feed into the relay has power in but no power out so a quick bypass and his pump isn’t working but my spare one is, a toggle switch goes into it so the pump can be shut off and it fires up and Kai/Ella are good to go

    Race 1
Kai/Ella get a flyer into T1 and as I get alongside and look at having a try riding around him having passed Goober/Matt off on the run down into T1 I’m thinking I really should repossess my fuel pump

Down into pothole and I think about an inside pass when Goober/Matt does exactly that, it blocks me in behind Kai/Ella and then Alex/Matt go up the inside of Goober/Matt into the hairpin
Not wanting to be left out of all the fun I go around the outside of Kai/Ella knowing if I get held up I won’t be able to stick with Alex/Andy and Goober/Matt

I see a flash of grey out of the corner of my eye and think Kai/Ella are going to T bone us but they just give Will a bit of a hit and we carry on, unknown to us Ella gets spat off the side when they hit us and owes even more beer

We push as hard as we can but can’t close the gap on Goober/Matt although in the last few laps we’re both closing the gap on Alex/Andy, but he keeps enough in reserve to run home first with Goober/Matt second and Me and Will 3rd, Phil/Steve 4th and Kai/Ella finishing 5th after Ella climbs back on after her tumble

    Race 2
Alex/Andy decide to start off the back and Kai is taking the launch a bit easier, probably thinking if he throws Ella down the track to many more time he’ll have to make his own breakfast and find a new passenger

We get a good run down into T1 and go around Goober/Matt, through pothole and then and then Alex/Andy pass both of us
Goober/Matt make the pass on us into the hairpin

We get a good run off the hairpin and go straight back under them into the next right and lead them around the infield sweeper where they get a run into the next right and we chase them around onto the front straight

Down the front straight and we pull out and pass, hooking into T1 fairly hard I just about run into the back of Alex/Andy, Andy looks around gives us the finger and then they accelerate away

Still right behind Alex/Andy onto the straight and pull out and pass, it’s not too long before they go back past us and try as we might we can’t get them back

I can see Goober/Matt out of the corner of my eye at the hairpin so know we have a bit of a gap and that’s the order we finish in

    Race 3
We get the call up to the grid but there a 3 bike accident when a bike highsides in T1 and the meeting is cancelled

That aside an excellent day out with some great dicing between us, Kai seems to have his Sidecar sorted and now just needs to stop tossing Ella down the track and start picking up a bit of speed
Phil and Steve coming along nicely as well looking better each meeting and hopefully a couple more on the grid next time out
