Seriously guys, we can bitch and complain for ever and a day about this.
Truth is, the way it stands, clubs are loosing money. Period.
Or would you like to pay a minimum of $500 a meeting entry fee so clubs can break even??

Do we want to continue racing at any events/venues in the future?? I know what my answer is. So I'll help the clubs that require our input to run the meetings.

It is? Didn't see that on my email. Wouldn't have paid my entry fee if I'd known!

Stop thinking I'm the smart one. People will start getting offended.

It was only better for those in the North or who were going to Oz which is really what it was all about because it's a fucking shit time to travel and get time off from down here

Couple of hours over the weekend isn't much, but like I said if it fits with our racing we'll do it, if it doesn't we won't

When's a shit time to travel and get time off work? The info I was provided with suggested that had the format put forward to the board been followed, Numbers would have been greatly increased for both the Suzuki series AND relevant NZSBK rounds, Win,win from where I sat, May have lost some from some areas but that would have been more than compensated for overall, Can't see how it was better for the clubs to be forced to run races for a reduced grid, Or the profile of the class, Pretty pathetic to watch 7 or 8 rigs on track at Taupo.

Whomever it is, that the context refers to. Even at an IHC event, I wasn't the smart one.

With the current resurgence of numbers in our class, things will improve.

I'll be looking to bring a better chair back from over here in Australia next year too. So our surprisingly competitive chair will be looking for riders. Harris might stop asking dumb money for Pig and Goober's old chair too.

Things are looking up, and the 'pathetic' show we put on this year can be viewed in context hopefully.

December for most people working in retail

Numbers greatly increased? only because the NI Suzuki series which got good numbers last year all of a sudden gets called the "Nationals", not that sure it'd make any difference to the numbers that come south

Not that it'd really make that much difference but we'd be unlikely to make that trip for one day meetings but Alex probably would as I think he is going to this year

I'm not sure it's a resurgence as such as numbers seem to go up and down over a 5-6 year cycle but here's hoping

Don't be in too much of a hurry to buy there as quite often I've seen stuff that could in from the UK cheaper

He's got someone making him offers a bit more where we feel it should be priced but so far has turned them down, if it sells I'm hoping for eight at a club day

Possibly some of you guys should be afforded an explanation on how the bazza is structured financially.
The event is run by three clubs, NZPCRA, NZSRA & CMCRR. These three clubs fund the event & if the event makes money the profit is split three ways. If the event loses money, the shortfall is split three ways, which means that by this time next week the NZSRA could be flat broke, (last year It broke virtually exactly even)
Your club, if you are a member of the NZSRA is involved in running the event, therefore you are responsible to help out, even if you are only ever used to being on the take while all the usual suspects pitch in & make it all magically happen for you.
If this is all too much to bear you should seriously consider wether you want to be a member or not.
In short, do your bit or fuck off.

I can't wait for next weekend. I'll be sober to cook the barbeque in all, since I gotta drive the family back to south Auckland after.
