Quite, I will get the manservant that carries the red flag in front of me to do that as well.

Anyone go out riding in the wind today?
I did the coppermine loop. I didn't have to pedal much along windy ridge- even up the hills as there was a fair breeze up my freckle. When I stopped it was the closest I've been to actually getting blown over while standing- lucky i have a few pies under my belt.

Anyone ever actually been blown over while standing up? I'd like to hear some stories.

Did a 17km loop of bottle lake but out near the coast the wind wasn't anywhere near as bad

I've been blown over on a trail ride on a motorcycle but not on a bicycle

A ride home today in a loaded van with tyres at 36, 36, 36 and 24 psi was very freaky.

I want to do Coppermine on the single speed.

If you do coppermine on a hardtail i'll give you a choccy fish. On the fully squish it was hard work.

3rd house on the cyclocross bike was a mission. Had to stop half way for a rest 'cause the rocks were starting to blur.

The single speed is a rigid too. Would need to wear a kidney belt.

If I can get to 3rd house on it, it should be good for the rest of the loop.

I'm thinking of doing next weekend's XC race up Sharland's on the single speed as it's already at the Olde Emporium.

Haven't done any riding at all up Sharland's apart from an XC race last year that just went up the road and down Doc and Willow Lane 5 times...

Anyone want to buy a 2006 Santa Cruz Blur XC?
Don't really like full squish now. Would be OK if the back end had a bar mounted lockout.

The hard tail with dropper post does quite nicely and climbs much better.

Had good intentions to go for a ride this afternoon, but 4 hrs of adventuring on the DR650 would have burned as many calories.

I smashed out a quick 3 hour hoon on the MTB in the hills, then jumped on the moto for a dash round the harbour for some lunch.

That was a good ride in the Richmond Hills.
    Got a little lost.
Ended up going down from the fire lookout to Hart Rd.
Mmmm, the smell of freshly cooked brakes.

Was going to take Bacon with me, but when he found out we were going on a push bike, he scarpered

How does he peddle then? at that speed? I thought the whole point of bi-cycling was to peddle otherwise it may be just a trolley...
