Am I asking too much for this?

I think this is a good deal. It is a great van, but....
Has been advertised for 7 days now. 600 views and 51 watchers, BUT not one phone call or visit to view?
Originally the idea was to get this, travel in it and tow motorbike behind when and as required....

With the dark windows you need to advertise it as suitable for pedophiles - you'll get more bids.

And yes, I think it is too expensive for the year and kms.

Advertise it in Otara. The coconuts love them for hauling all their kids around in.

Hell no,surprised that hasn't gone yet. Miles aren't high on a Toyo van.

I had mine valued 2 years back for isurance. OK its nz new but petrol, 1995 std ZR and same km, they said 10k easy

Hold their value much better than a shitty old car as engines made to do bigger miles in commercial use which is why they are a bit slow even for the weight.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Thanks...If you have or do own a Toyota Hiace or Hiace Custom or Super Custom you'd understand.

Cheers for that! Someone asked about cylinder head warping due to excessive heat, they all do this he said?
Then he wanted an inspection, and he was in CHC, the other end of the country....
I can oblige but you organise it mate!

Maybe $1.5k over priced if it is in good condition but those motors are known for doing twice those kms easily.
I recommend putting the word "camper" and "back packer" in the listing

Last year I paid 3500 for a 2004 petrol 3 litre L300 in exc condition with less K's and full service history. I think its way too expensive.

    and if it doesn't sell....

I am in the market for one of these to tow....

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=839909612

I would think that this might go for over $2000? possibly?

I am not giving it away...

Got a query stating, I have $6000, I can buy it today, serious buyer here, I need it urgently...

Worn injectors on the 3Ls are another common reason for the heads to crack. If the crack goes from the pre-combustion chamber to the exhaust valve it is injectors. They are a good solid motor and no head warps or cracks for no reason.

My theory on anything that doesn't sell is that the price is too high, whether it be a car or a property or anything.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
