I went to my details and it took just one more click to spend E99 - almost too bloody easy.

Of course getting everything up and running on my network may not be so easy but I've got a few days.
So you're not in touch with God pritch ????
Either way we've got GPs huh ?

I really enjoyed MotoGP on Sommet last year. But the video pass is a 100 Euro (about $NZD144).

World Superbikes video pass is only 25 Euro (about NZD$36).

Is MotoGP really worth 4 times the money?
The WSBK one is limited because Sky has the rights to broadcast the races. So with the video pass you can't view any of races live, only delayed by a few days. Basically, to view WSBK live in NZ you have to bend over and part your cheeks for Sky or use a proxy.

It'll be the same for the MotoGP video pass once Sky is confirmed as having the broadcast rights in NZ.

Thing is, there's nothing on Sky and their coverage of the races is shit so why pay in excess of $600 a year for shit content and race coverage that gets bumped for soccer etc.

I thought the wsbk subscription was only on demand viewing available a week after the racing. Who would pay for that?

I have exactly the same TV and exactly the same problem. I've given up on using it for any streaming except for Youtube (through the bundled app) and have to rely on torrents as well. It connects okay to mobile devices, and even the screen mirroring works okay (but has no sound), but beyond that the 'SMART' is a laugh.

So looks like torrents for MOTOGP again then - and trying to avoid blogs/news-sites/forums until I've watched it.

In the worldsbk FAQ it says:
    http://www.worldsbk.com/en/faq
Once correctly logged in you will see a Live Video and a Live Timing icons on the upper right side of our main page, as well as a direct access on the homepage. The icons will be green and "on air" when there is a live session running.
So we don't actually get live video in NZ?

Whelp, for the first time ever, Vifferman has forked out for a MotoGP videopass. My wife made me do eet.
She wants to watch her "baby" Mark Marc Marquez race and win again, "Coz he has such a lovely smile!" Evil pernicious traitorous wench! And after she marched all over Melbourne to the bike shops, to buy me the last remaining VR46 cap, and we drove for many kilometres around Italy for her VF46 shirt. I should confiscate it, and put in on TardMe, eh?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Nope. Sign up and find out. Last year I did and it was delayed cos Sky had the rights so I immediately cancelled it. This year I'm going through a proxy so there's none of that pandering to the tv rights holders bullshit.

Great news for SKY customers. Glad I held out on buying the online pass.

Hey so just to be sure, I can't remember this being a problem for the past two seasons I've had a videopass, but if I purchase a MotoGP videopass (now that Sky has rights this season) will the feed be delayed? Or is that just WSBK?

Yes, but the reason the Superbikes pass is so cheap is that coverage is delayed by a week. This was done, as I understand it, after neogtiation with Sky so that Dorna would not be competing with their service. The same is true in Australia. Elsewhere World SBK is more, though still cheaper than MotoGP. 70 Euros??

I see that MotoGP will be on Sky POP-UP. I don't know what that is, but I know I won't get it on my TV.
