Well, yeah. What's your problem? You should not proceed until it is safe to do so. That will be some time after I have passed by. At that point do what you like.

Ironically, I had a discussion today with the other Popo in these pics. We might set fire to the new ST1300, we're not feeling the love for it.

On the day he took those pics Racing Dave came out with a fairly critical view of the work we did, but after a day of seeing us in action, he softened a little.

Those two guys in the pic (not us), neither had licences. Like 30 of the motorcyclists we deal with.

28 days to go chaps and chappettes, it's all down hill from here.

I'm still waiting for my bonus from 1989. Not holding out much hope at this stage.

For sure, if we got paid a bonus for tickets written we'd be writing a shit load more than we do.

During infrequent visits to this site over the last couple of years I have enjoyed your posts.

Congrats on your time, sounds like you understand policing in a way that is missing now.

I started with MOT in 1977 and now involved in training so 38 years with direct connection with the industry.

Everyone has an opinion on how you should do this job however most would struggle on implementing it on the street.

I got pulled in by the boss three months after starting and asked why I had yet to issue a single speeding infringement. I gave the stupidest but honest answer.

(also, and you'd probably know, but you no longer have to indicate ON to a roundabout if you're going straight through, even if the people on the other side or coming from your right can see you and may be otherwise unclear about your intent.

I'm with scooby on this, dont fucken bother. especially up here where they'll whang a roundabout in the middle of three fuckn 100km/h roads that has trucks coming from all 3 fucken directions all the fucken time.)
