    +1

we're going 9/10. not that there was anything to let it down.
maybe some shootouts and car chases.

    top notch cinematography and all.
    soundtrack worth a boot too.

    Junkie.

another one i find hard to rate. but we're positive.
felt very long for 80 minutes, i'm sure it could have been trimmed without losing anything.

worth a watch. most people wont "get it"

    Mad Max: Fury Road

Intense! Just non-stop action for two hours. Explosions, wrecks, stabby bits, a dude shredding a flame throwing guitar and so on.

    9/10

It was alright... in a mindless way to kill a couple of hours sort of way I don't think I'll be rushing to have another look at it though.

Filth - hmmmm, watched it on KB recommendation. OK in it's own distorted way. Won't rewatch.

Seen some crap lately unfortunately - looking for something fresh. Or a good Si-Fi

    Ex Machina was pretty good.

I'll be watching Arnies latest 'Maggie' tomorrow night and Chappie during the week.

I watched a great doco on Netflix today called All This Mayhem. It's about the rise and fall of the Pappas brothers. A couple of Aussie kids who reached the pinnacle of vert skating back in the 90's. I remembered watching them when I was into skating myself.

It has some extremely funny bits and obviously gets pretty heavy. I definitely recommend it even for the non-skater.

Edit: Directed by the guy who made Senna (something I should probably check out).

    Prisoners.

if e'er there was a movie to be given 10/10 this would be a fucking contender. leads that would make most women leave their marriage, top notch storyline, very human, an epic five hours or so (it wasn't. but it is long. but not painfully so) compelling. would watch again, but round 1 is still soaking in as yet.

    fucking superlative.

Yeah man great gritty film. Loved Gyllenhaal in this. Recommended fully.

    Mad Max- where are you?

Same. So much hype. So let down. Started yawning before the end of the movie.

I really like Tom Hardy and expected him to stamp his mark on this movie. Sadly his character was a drip. Why do that to the legacy Mel created?

Kind of hard to stamp a mark on a film when you only have five lines of dialogue. Hardy did a great job.
