    Isle Of Man TT

hello, not long been here from the U.K.

Does the TT have a big following in NZ? I have just seen that it will be aired on sky here

Any predictions on who you think will be king of the hill this year??

There are currently fourteen kiwis from our small group of sidecar followers up there at the moment supporting three teams. Yeah, we're into it.
Of course Moly will win the sidecar class.

Lucky you!! Not on Sky here in the UK. The best you can get is highlights every night on ITV4.

Now you are living in NZ, you better support Bruce Anstey

    Enjoy the races!

There was also a detailed list of the SKY coverage in the racing forum:

As posted in the Racing forum, there was a storm on the Island overnight; roads closed, trees down and many campers had a real "adventure". Some locals have offered their homes for the campers to dry out their kit, get a hot shower and a cuppa. Nice people.

If Anstey, Martin or McPint win I'll be happy.

Ouch! That doesn't sound good Pritch. Have you got a link you could post up for the Racing Forum.

    Cheers

Not really I was referring to having already mentioned the storm in the MotoGP thread in the KB raing forum. The storm started to be mentioned last night on Twitter because of the mountain road being closed, then the crews going out to clear the fallen trees around the island.

Haven't looked at Twitter since early this morning.

The locals on the island are bloody brilliant! There are people opening their doors to visitors, local halls and buildings saying "get inside and dry out a bit".

Marvelous community. Well done to them!

Looks like practice is untimed, due to the conditions.

Last night they said the rain had stopped but it was blowing a gale and freezing cold. The practice sessions were running but there was a report that the timing wasn't working because of the wind?
