No problem with countershaft high - plenty of clearance around the casings.

You have been a busy boy over the past couple of days.
So is this one of the magical TF100 with the massive 6petal reed blocks all watercooled.
I know you were talking about it but man that was fast work.
Right it must need a rebore seems as the original cylinder has been sitting for a couple of decades - straight to 52mm kart pistons buddy.
56mm 125 barrel and have the special crank to show , 108cc

But, putting mr senseable's hat on: I suspect that frames and brakes wouldn't be up to it.
180cc/200cc single 2 valve might be more realistic...
I was thinking 250 singles but only for sidecars.

I thought that custom crank was for a super AM6...
    But I now understand...

I'm not disagreeing Husa. But my earlier point stands, the faster you go the more engineering is needed to ensure that we don't make a mess of the tracks (and less importantly ourselves).
    Maybe MX85...

Like I said that's the mechanics problem not the designers
    Again with the mx85
I do have one but I am still not convinced esp when you last said MX80's
Imagine how much shit that would cause with the Air Cooled set.
ESP if someone rolled up on a 2015 KTM85

Its not an even year so I'm not going to talk about MX85/MX80...
But yes, shit storm - but there isn't really any AC sidecars out there.

    Actually....
Maybe it's odd year I talk about MX85...

Maybe there could be an evolution here:
    MX85 pre2010 (standard CDI).
125 air cooled twostroke (carb restriction 28mm)
150cc four valve fourstroke - watercooled
180cc four valve four strokes - air cooled
210cc two valve four strokes - air cooled.

I thought it was a re bore allowance not a de stroke allowance.

But if its allowed I have a good 54mm NSR250 cylinder and with a de stroke of 2mm I could have a 109.9 cc engine with the same bore stroke ratio of my old Suzuki GP.

A de stroke should be easy as we replace the 19mm Suzuki pin with a 22mm Yamaha one. So offsetting it 1mm would not be too hard.

Your idea has got me seriously thinking about abandoning the 125cc RGV air cooled project and using the bits to make a water cooled NSR/GP110 with a plenum and fuel injection.

You have got me thinking now .....

keep the stroke and debore with 52mm strike pistons.
What's the bet Sketchy will be along soon as someone said MX85

It's so loose Rob, yes I believe the intent is rebore: but no closed loop to stop the possibility of interpretation as a maximum CC range.
This is the issue with writing rules, they need to be consistent and limit interpretations.

tell you what tz , you have given me the idea as i built a tf bottom end - rgv100 top end years ago i think standard there 56mm ? , that new short stroke crank makes it 108 cc , just put it in that engine , spiget head into barral , richerd got my sp rgv250 heads bugger it but may not have to port it ..Click image for larger version.

    Clever work on the crank.

Do you still have the other parts for the TF/RGV100 engine?
