I've had many a laugh at folk who just chuck a bolt through box or tube, and can't figure out why it won't stay tight.
This bad boy is strong as all fuck. It is a fairly high stress application after all. But if it can sheer 3 out of 4 high tensile M8 cap screws, the wheel wouldn't withstand the impact anyway.
Al should have the axle clamps made this arvo, and the swingarm cut to accept them. If so and he doesn't get it put together while I'm away this weekend, I should be able to get it back on three wheels Monday night.
Then it's just the brakes to put on and we can do a run down his hill to buy a box of beer, to make sure it all works.
We'll get a test day in before the Shorai, or we won't be risking it.
Hey Nev. If we come to the Shorai, can you do a warrant on the chair for us? It's been over two years I have just realised.
Not much faster, but fast enough you wouldn't be able to do it whether you could be fucked or not
I think having Reeves out here might be a bit of an eye opener to just how fast the LCRs can be ridden and although they wont be at Shorai I'd expect Colin/Robbie to be a bit quicker now as well
It wouldn't matter if I bought the latest LCR with the best motor I doubt I'd do the times you guys used so a hub centre gsxr1000 shorty wouldn't do shit for me
