Until I did Warwick's motor I didn't know that the GSXR1000's flexed the shift fork rails, if they do it, that probably will too.
Fix is solid rails rather than tubular ones.
While it's apart, take the balking ball setup out of second gear on the layshaft if it hasn't already been done. They're an inconvenience left in.
Pull the bloody balance shafts too...
I was literally just about to message you regarding the balance shaft. Thanks for answering if I can just give it the flick.

There is some obvious wear on the dogs and cogs on the output shaft, and one or two surfaces on the other.

Scrivy had to get solid selector pivot rods for the Busa too, sounds common to Suzuki.

The ZX14 had aftermarket alloy replacement for the balance shaft, very nice waisted piece. Doesn't have to be that fancy, turn up something to fill the hole when it's removed. Crank wasn't rebalanced, solid mount in a car, no complaints....

Balance shaft in the 12 has a removable spindle so that it can be timed up, as it mounts in the bottom half of the cases. We'll just take the lump and put the spindle back in.

Gears are back from being undercut, assembly tomorrow and we're ready for Wanganui.

Even had the dungeon serviced this week.

Need to sell the Transit first, although the V8 powered Box Body Transit on TM would do me

I looked into how they do that when Honda announced they're GP bikes. Would love one, but we're a while away from road bikes getting them methinks.

Well, Wanganui was good fun and the chair went great...after we plugged in the quick shifter plug properly. Fuck it!

We were set to leave the track in unfamiliar territory. It didn't need any work...untill Dee fucking Winter crashed into it as she was driving through the pits at the end of the day. STUPID FUCKING WOMAN.

For some sadistic reason, that really funny.
