Last Monday's Public Holiday (Waitangi Observed)
I went for a ride from Hamilton to Te Kauwhata, the back way through Whitikahu to Mangeteparu, left onto the Morrinsville-Tahuna Road, then left at Tahuna towards/past Te Hoe to Waikare Road.

These photo's are of Lake Waikare

Te hoe 5 mins from my place, it's a nice ride round the lake to Te Kauwhata

Only to Blenhole and back, via Rarangi, but first time out of Pictown on two wheels since farkin January. Ride was way too short, but better than nada and not a bad wee bike all and all.
