    The ultimate in bike porn

It's wonderful just how many old bikes are still in existence and have been restored to original condition. An old friend in the UK has just sent me a link to some classic auctions in the UK which is well worth sharing, not only for the photos and prices, but the technical info which goes with each bike. This is the link with 7 pages of them: http://www.coys.co.uk/the-carole-nas...w#auction-lots .

The emotional connection with bikes is a highly personal one but for me Lot 195, the Ducati Hailwood 900 Evolutzione is the loveliest bike ever built. The Guzzi V8 replica is pretty special too. Wasn't that long ago when Sammy miller had his replica at Pukekohe.

    Enjoy!!!

I feel like stabbing you for that comment, it is an ugly pile of muntage compared to the original, actually it's an ugly pile of muntage compare to everything except for maybe a Bimota Mantra

I'll play, didn't even bother looking once I saw this.
I met a Father and 'Son' touring around Greece in 1989 on one of these....uber cool, in fact uber alles.
Ok I did take a peek at the rest, 900ss, Laverda SF750 and Guzzi 750 Sport.
Oh and agree with Kick on the MHR replica replica....yuk.

I must be out of my mind - I really like the 1957 MV Agusta 250 Raid ‘Disco Volante'

(But only in red. I am hoping the pink is just in the photo)

I agree entirely that Ducati looks ugly and as for the Mantra I always called it the Looney Tunes bike because it looked so like it would fit in the cartoon.
