No no no....All pressure fed bearings come from the pressure side of the pump. The scavenge pump apparently has a bleed hole in the return line to lube the clutch area. Only the oil sitting in the heads can be said to passively lube anything. What is in the motor and not under pressure is draining to where it gets picked up by the scavenge pump and returned to the tank.....

You quoted .4 Liter in the motor at any one time. This is easily accounted for by around 200ml in the filter, plus what's in the heads and what's misted and draining down. When i dry sumped a ZZR1100 for a chair, there was always around 1 liter left in the thing. That was as good as i could get it. Too many nooks and crannies for the oil to get trapped in....

Looking good bro, must be snug behind the fairing I'm guessing. Cleaner look when it's all together. No running short of oil now...

Sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do....Looks good to me.

Pic is one i did a few years back - squeezed a 500 triumph and oil tank into the space a 350 wet sump macchi engine just fits....

Note where the battery finished up.

It started out as they do - looking very good when handed over. As Scott will attest, once an owner has it in their possession, things change....And not always for the better. Husa may actually remember the bike that motor came from - it's a late Daytona which was in a modified Cub frame...which flexed like fuck. It had of course been built on the coast....

A while back, I found that something had changed on here and I could suddenly post pics. It still takes forever so don't expect many more....

Not quite, lol , I'm still to build a trellis frame like yours....next one up if all goes well.

And i'll never be another Husa as i can't post links - for which you should all be duly grateful.

Posting links is even easier Greg.
You just copy out the address of the page and paste it in.

Sorry for not bringing the compressor.
    Lack of tie downs..

Great seeing both you and the bike out there. Looks like slightly heaver fork springs are needed.
