Yes but, but, you know, bikes, bling. Resistance is futile. It's a Busa. Restraint doesn't come into except in officer infested territory......

HA - it cracks me up when I arrive somewhere dressed in bike gear and order a coffee - I am often asked if it is 'to go' - If I had a cup holder I could get a takeaway!

Funny indeed. I always ask for takeaway, as I like to sit outside and drink it. It stays hotter longer. Also easier to carry when wandering around looking at others bikes and chatting.

Any of those would look ducking naff on a Ducats.
Have to get yourself a café racer to go.

Best response I have heard to this. "So you dont bang your wife so she is in better condition for the next guy"

I dont own bikes to sell them and try to make my money back. I try to wear them out as quickly as possible.

Every single bike sounds (and looks) better with an aftermarket pipe.

    Anybody disagree with this?

A HD with a deep meaty pipe sounds very nice and powerful.
The open 'wake-the-dead' ones most owners tend to run IMO sound like shit and give the image of HP being converted into noise.

Once upon a time I would have debated it, but not now.

My TDM came with Kerkers which startled me first time I heard it running. I have grown to love it.

On a training course, the instructor commented that not only did he know exactly when I got on the throttle but he knew exactly how much throttle I was using. Guess he liked them, too.

My Norton Commando sounds pretty good with stock pipes, and probably the best looking bike too, and least porky, and 60 MPG.
One day I'll get the roadster headers to replace the interstate ones

Interesting analogy, though I see no tangible need to change the cans on my Busa. Each to their own I suppose. Don't need the extra power or noise, and the weight loss is no biggie.

Normally don't run bikes until they're worn out, so my approach works for me

That is certainly one very nice looking ride and simply exudes character.
