It's open road (from part way down old north, after the roundabout), so 100km/h. 80 before that.

Nope. Open road. Follow it in your head from the roundabout, along the little straight, curve left into blind right, over the crest, straight, kink right in the dip then over crest. Open road signs are right there (just before the road on your right that takes you back to riverhead town) before you head into the dipping left sweeper before the riverhead bike track park (pretty sure thats what it is).

Perty sure i know what you mean.

Actually NO!, i do know where you mean.
How silly, every time i see those signs i think what a stupid place to have the signs.
They tell you that you can speed up right before a blind crest merging into a tightish left hander. with a road on the right, and a driveway/road on the left.

Thrashing mean riding your bike as hard or fast as you can... rdelining it.

WOT = Work Over Time... put in a lot of extra effort.
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

    So yeah, was me!
Was a bit of thrashing but not so much...lighting up the trees around is not really helpfull to see the turns and the road in the dark

Yup, good to see so many last night. I was such a nana ... slower than I was on my Bandit. But yeah, like Raj said, no point in throwing the bike down the road - if you get back home in one piece it's a good night out. Don't worry though, once I get used to this beast I'll be on your tails.

Sorry for not stopping outside the Bar when leaving - just saw some folk standing round the Gixxer but didn't notice any damage or injuries so carried on regardless.
