I think if you want to look for the raping and a pillaging there are thousands of more historically accurate examples.

The program ultimately cost $3 billion dollars, versus $2 billion for the Manhattan Project.

I've always wondered about the American claim of " Saving Lives" by bombing Hiroshima, surely they could have just stopped and waited for the Japanese to surrender, mind you they were a tad amped up.

If they had a working prototype and which may have had the capacity
Why didn't they use it ?
Because they may have had a better alternative, which may have been the bigger prize that Britain and America knew about
Give Berlin to the Russians etc
