If it was a generalisation, why did he say what happened in Sweden last night. that's pretty specific rather than generalisation.
"You look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?"
Trump then mentioned the French cities of Nice and Paris and the Belgian capital, Brussels. The three European cities were all attacked by terrorists over the past two years.

Because the article on immigration that he was referring to, aired on TV the night before.

    It's not rocket surgery.

It's clearly not an article if he watched it on fox news.
Are you confusing television with print media.

Yes Trump made the mistake of not referencing the Fox article.

I guess that's what happens when you don't use a teleprompter and a team of speech writers (assuming).
simple question, why did the Soviets modify a air-raid shelter into a gas chamber? what was their intention?

    Trump.

I'd be surprised if he makes it to Christmas. He hasn't revealed his tax details yet, as requested numerous times ( something to hide Donald dumbfuck ? )

    Every other President has.

Made a dick of your self so far and even your Republican 'fellows' are quietly laughing at you, well, who wouldn't ?

    What a fucking idiot..

It's also what happens when you don't engage the brain...

I can see you having plenty to do for the length of Trump's presidency, explaining to us lesser mortals just how we are misunderstanding the man you adore..

There could even be a job for you at the US Embassy - assuming you can get on with a one time male centerfold...

If you people understand what a man is?

Hope all this shit goes away by the time my daughter goes to school.

When Trump speaks there can be many interpretations because what comes out of his mouth often doesn't actually make sense. Journalists trying to be polite refer to this as "flow of consciousness", but that's just a fancy name for making shit up as he goes.

I'm not watching it again thanks, so from memory, he referred to what happened in Germany, then does a little riff on "last night in Sweden"*, then he mentions Paris and Nice. Germany, Paris, and Nice were all the scene of recent terrorist attacks. Most people with normal comprehension skills would (and did) infer he was talking about a terrorist attack in Sweden.

So it's not "fake news" it is what he said.

There is no evidence to suggest that most Trump supporters have anything approaching normal comprehension skills, so I can understand that they would differ.

*You can set that to the tune of "One Night In Bankok".

Donald Trump is a draft dodging coward. Four student deferments, then a doctor gave him a certificate for a hurty heel.

He doesn't pay his bills, he assaults women and he's an ignorant twat.

You definition of "the man" doesn't set the bar very high.

Why? Is your daughter starting school in the US of A?

It was easier to dodge the draft when your wealthy, dodging the Vietnam war was a good idea, everyone should have done it.

If NZ hitched up its wagon to the US with another stupid war like that I'd encourage my two sons to go overseas.

( and yes I know we would all be speaking Japanese if that was my view in 1942.....)

Actually the NZ Army was busy in Africa and then Europe so the Yanks had to come and fight the Japanese.

Once upon a time a good war record (or at least one that could be made to look reasonable without too much elaboration) was regarded as a plus if standing for President. That's no longer the case, three of the last four managed to hide from the draft: numbers 42, 43 and 45.

This may or may not mean much, except that Trump's one military excursion so far was a complete fuck up and lost the US access to a middle eastern country.

NZ only had about 500 servceman, artillery and a couple of infantry companies in Vietnam at any given time it was a very small involvement compared to our other war contributions
We went in with the Aussies and US as part of the ANZUS alliance.
We need to remember that Vietnam like Korea were US Russian proxy wars and power plays, its a two sided game still being played out now.

I saw a lot of old Russian military vehicles in 'Nam, fortunately did not have to ride a Minsk.
Oddly the Vietnamese love the US and its their largest trading partner....keeping America Great.

I guess that maybe communism was as great as it was made out to be of the people after all.
Then again Trump proves democracy isn't that great either.
If only all the people of Vietnam had started out with just a small loan of a million doallars from their father.
