Physics; Thou art a cruel, heartless Bitch-of-a-Mistress
I read about that almost straight away but hadn't seen this clip. Second shooter is a recurring theory ever since the grassy knoll.
His "science" seems OK, a lot of that is consistent with army basic training. It'll show up on YouTube as "crack and thump". My problem with his theory is that in none of the audio clips are there two rifles firing - and there have been a lot of people listening. If there was another rifle you'da thunk someone would've noticed?
I expect, however, that Katman will be along shortly.

Acoustic returns from lots of hard surfaces like concrete are "challenging" at best.
I doubt one of the new detection systems would function too well in built-up areas, but would be interesting to find out how well they perform.

My only question regarding the video on the previous page is - were all the bullets shot by Stephen Paddock of the same calibre?
If they were, then the difference in time lag needs serious consideration.
If he used ammo of different calibre then the video is rather pointless.
One thought that occurred to me, after the mysterious note he left that contained no words only numbers which then turned out to be his trajectory calculations, was that he could've saved himself the effort if he had tracer rounds. It turns out now that he did have tracers but didn't use them.

He was worried about bullet drop at that range when he's spraying a packed confined crowd in a relatively large area???
That proves he must be mad.![]()
