US sanctions, failing banks, and the drying up of foreign aid and cash transfers since the Taliban takeover have left Afghanistan's economy in tatters. Crypto is coming to the rescue.

The currency used to measure the value of Crypto is the currency used by the failing banks. But Crypto is coming to the rescue.........

Did you even read the article they are using it as the sanctions are working, Cyrto is not coming to the rescue, it's their only option? but it is failing as they don't have computer access nor want to give power or computer access to their people especially 1/2 the population that were born without a penis.
22.8 million Afghans yet only 380,000 users of cypto. =1.6% of users.
The govt there could just hold proper elections treat their people equally and not suffer economic sanctions, but why should they want to do that aye.
When they could use ecypto without power or computers.

    Sanctions Against Russia

Trying to keep track of what sanctions have been applied against Russia can be time-consuming.

Attach a couple of links of two graphical resources that have been tracking sanctions, and which continue to be updated.
Might be of interest to some people.

    1. Split by Country in descending date order, then alternatively by companies and organisations:

    2. Split by Country in ascending date order

    [ Edit 24.03.2022 ]

With many European countries buying product on spot price (and many long term price contracts expiring near end March), matters will now start getting more interesting.

Predictable response from Russia: Pay us in rubles

Predictable response from Germany: Outrage. Should provide for some interesting discussion during the two day EU Summit (which Biden is attending)

Reports indicate that Russian soldiers in Ukraine steal anything that isn't nailed down, any electrical appliances, meat grinders, even carpets. One enterprising thief reportedly took the armour out of his plate carrier and replaced it with a stolen laptop. Unfortunately karma came to play, the laptop didn't function as armour and now he's dead.

It wasn't the best day for the laptop either...
